Why don’t you have the plugin installed on your website, so people can check out how it works? I am looking for a plugin like yours for a client, but I would like to see it in action, before I install it on the blog!
I think that would be helpful for people that are interested in your plugin!
Thanks, Maria
Hi Maria
Thanks for your feedback.
We have now added the plugin to the blog so and everyone else can see it in action.
Sam
Awesome tool. But I don’t like the the default look of the widget – the landscape one, the one you have in your post looks just great.
Can’t you make that the default?
Thanks.
There is a small change you can make to the free-translation.php file in the plugin package that will display the landscape version of the tool.
If you find in free-translation.php:
src='http://www.appliedlanguage.com/translate.aspx?sourcel=en&iindex=2&col=&temp=YmxvZy5hcHBsaWVkbGFuZ3VhZ2UuY29t' title='Online Translation Powered by Applied Language Solution' marginheight='0' marginwidth='0' style='width: 115px; height: 198px;' frameborder='0' scrolling='no'
And replace it with:
src='http://www.appliedlanguage.com/translate.aspx?sourcel=en&iindex=1&col=&temp=YmxvZy5hcHBsaWVkbGFuZ3VhZ2UuY29t' title='Online Translation Powered by Applied Language Solution' marginheight='0' marginwidth='0' style='width: 224px; height: 74px;' frameborder='0' scrolling='no'You will get the landscape version.
Thanks heaps
I inserted the plug in & then made it landscape all good & works great
BUT how do you get back to english from another language?
This is so great. You are prividing a fine service to the translation industry. Keep it up!

Wonderful plugin… You understand the value of something when you badly need it. You just can’t imagine how much you made my life easier with such a nice auto-translation plugin. I was having tough time since a few days for one of my new wordpress projects.
Many many thanks

Long time reader / first time poster. Really enjoying reading the blog, keep up the good work. Will definitely start posting more in the near future.
Useful post. Have been trying to learn a new language online but not having much success, have been considering going to a local programme so this is helpful, thank you.
Is there something like a free translation service that we can use online?
Yes, there are various free translation tools that are available at http://www.appliedlanguage.com/translation_resources.aspx including text translation, website translation and email translation.
Great Plugin, Thanks.
Question: is it compatible with the latest WP version?
Thanks
Dougi
As long as the theme you are using is Widget enabled the plugin should work on later versions of Word Press.
I was suggested this website by my cousin. I am not sure whether this post is written by him as nobody else know such detailed about my problem. You are incredible! Thanks!
Thanks!
I am also interested in the Arabic translation. Do you have any plans to implement this in the future?
Hi,
There are no plans to add any more languages to the toolbar in the near future. If you require an Arabic translation please email enquiries@appliedlanguage.com for a quotation.
Thanks
It is really a great and useful piece of info, thank you.
Have you ever considered creating an ebook or guest authoring on other websites? I have a blog centered on the same ideas you discuss and would love to have you share some stories/information. I know my viewers would value your work. If you’re even remotely interested, feel free to shoot me an email.
We welcome posts from other bloggers and are willing to write for other blogs too. However your email address seems to be invalid. If you can contact me regarding this we can discuss.
So many sites are now offering this kind of stuff but none of you are including Tagalog as one of those language. I have lots of friends in the Philippines and I want to learn their language and want communicate to them using their own language .
Hope to see this on your next features. This is going to be of great help.
Hello,
This is an interesting point; the reason for this is that many free translation tools use the APIs of Google or Bing (increasingly Bing since Google announced that they are going to be charging for the use of their translation API) If providers of these free tools do not switch from Google to Bing they will either have to pay for the service or it will simply stop working.
Currently neither Google or Bing offer Tagalog as part of their free translation services. If Bing starts to offer Tagalog as part of its translation API then undoubtedly you will see this language pair start to appear on free translation tools.
I hope this answers your question as to why this language is not currently supported.
Hey! Someone in my Facebook group shared this website with us so I came to look it over. I’m definitely enjoying the information. I’m book-marking and will be tweeting this to my followers! Wonderful blog and outstanding design and style.
This is a fantastic plugin. I have used it on several of my sites and also suggested it to a few clients. Cheers. Tim

I have a free wordpress site I use for blogging and I’ve tried adding the HTML coding onto that but it doesn’t display?
Hi Colin,
If you can email the link of your site to blogs@translationblog.co.uk I will take a look at this for you. It might be something to do with the theme you have installed.
Thanks
Всем спасибо, вопрос решен.
